What Pro adds

Every cloud provider integration: AWS (EC2 Instance Connect and Session Manager), Google Cloud IAP, and Cloudflare Access — plus multiple profiles per provider, for keeping work and personal, or production and staging, side by side.
End-to-end encrypted cloud backup. Viewing, restoring and deleting a backup you already have stays free, also after a subscription lapses.
Unlimited live AI — Gemini (with a Google sign-in or your own key), OpenRouter, or your own self-hosted server.

Why security is not behind the paywall

Hardware-backed keys and security keys exist so that fewer private keys sit on phones. Charging for them would mean charging users to be safer, and pricing the more secure option out of reach of the people most likely to skip it. They are free deliberately — and so is everything that isn't a third-party cloud provider's protocol: Direct connections, jump hosts, Tailscale.

What Pro charges for is either a recurring cost to run — cloud backup — or a large amount of engineering against someone else's protocol, which is what every cloud provider integration (AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudflare) is, regardless of how that integration reduces credential risk once you're on it. Session recording is a convenience rather than a security feature, so it sits with the other extras; recordings you have already made stay yours to share and delete if a subscription lapses.

Plans and pricing

Both plans unlock everything below — the difference is how many apps they cover, not what they do.

SSH Manager Pro — Android only: $3.99 per month, or $39.99 per year (about 16% off the monthly price). Covers the Android app it was bought in.

SSH Manager Pro — all platforms: $5.99 per month, or $59.99 per year (about 17% off). Covers every app your account signs in to — the iPad and iPhone app included. On sale when the iOS app ships, so it cannot be bought yet.

Prices are in US dollars; Google Play charges the local equivalent in your region. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time in Google Play. If a renewal payment fails, Play keeps the subscription running through a grace period before it lapses — 7 days on the monthly plans and 14 on the annual ones.

The app is officially released and available worldwide across all 178 countries on Google Play. (An iOS version is currently in active development.)

Subscriptions are managed directly by Google Play, so cancelling is done there and standard Google Play refund terms apply. A lapsed subscription does not delete anything: your hosts, keys, snippets and settings remain, and Pro features pause.
